Art Basel: Under New Management

The biggest news buzzing around Art Basel this summer is the appointment of a triumvirate to succeed current Art Basle director Sam Keller starting January 1, 2008. The triumvirate includes Cay Sophie Rabinowitz, Annette Schonholzer, and Marc Spiegler. The biggest question obviously is can this triumvirate work? I would would simply ask, has it ever worked anywhere?

Regardless, Art Basel 2007 thus far is proving its place as leader in both the exhibition of contemporary art and the discussion of it. More later...
